35th Anniversary of The Unicist Research Institute

June 1976 was the beginning of the research of evolution in the field of complexity science. It was focused on approaching the nature of reality which required an ontological approach to the basic research and an object driven approach in the field of application.

The research drove to the discovery of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature, the unicist ontology, the unicist logic, the complexity science research methodology and the human ontointelligence.

This provided the basic knowledge to develop more than 3,500 applicative researches in the field of individual, institutional and social evolution that were finished until September 2010. The research work is still ongoing.

Unicist Tweetinar on Unicist Business Objects Building

The Unicist Standard for business objects building defines the norms that business objects have to fulfill to generate results.

Extreme design, the use of unicist modeling and the structure of the ontology of objects allow building unicist business objects.

Unicist business objects (UBO) are encapsulated adaptive systems that produce predefined results that can be inserted in work processes to increase productivity and quality and to save energy.

Classification of objects based on their use

Drivers: they are objects that produce results within work processes.

Catalysts: they are objects that are designed to accelerate drivers, tasks or processes.

Entropy inhibitors: Their role is to minimize the entropy of processes and results.

Inhibitors: They are objects to inhibit anti-conceptual actions in processes.

Gravitational objects: They are objects that generate an influential context that promotes the need of the results provided by tasks, objects or processes.

Objects do not substitute people’s responsibility, they provide a safer, faster and energy saving solution to be installed in work processes.

That is why objects can only be installed in organizations where the leaders assumed the responsibility for the results produced by the processes they manage.

The Unicist Ontology for Innovation Marketing

Innovative products or services are those that are beyond the existing boundaries of a prospect. They cannot be bought; all what is outside the boundaries of a person can be admired but can only be bought after the person included it into its area of comfort or safety.

To sell innovative products or services it is necessary to evaluate if the time is given to launch a fluent expanding business.

Innovations need to have objective and subjective added value for the buyers and, by definition, they need to have a superior functionality or provide more power to the buyers.

The adoption of innovations requires that the products or services need to provide some of these alternatives: more pleasure, more power, easier work or more functionality. Optimal innovations integrate all the aspects.

Inventions, new design or discoveries need to be confronted with this analysis before defining if they will be launched or not. If the moment hasn’t come, there is a possibility that an innovation works as a catalyst for other products. In this case it is not a business in itself but sustains other businesses.

What is the breakthrough of the Unicist Ontology of Learning?

The breakthrough of Unicist Education was based on the discovery of the ontology of learning which has given scientific sustainability, amongst others, to Piaget. Dealing with the ontology of education allowed dividing the maximal strategy which deals with the learning process from the minimum strategy that deals with the teaching process.

The Unicist Algorithm of the Buying Process

The unicist ontogenetic algorithm describes the steps of a buying process. The first and last step of a buying process is the satisfaction of desires.

The objective of marketing is to position a product or service as a “first choice” alternative in a potential buyer’s mind. Marketing requires following the buying processes in order to influence them when it becomes necessary.

The purpose of a buying process is to fulfill a desire an individual has. This desire can be driven by rational, emotional or instinctive needs. But to develop market actions it is necessary to know which they are.

Doubts appear immediately after the desires of an individual were triggered. These doubts have a double meaning. On the one hand they are barriers individuals install in order to avoid being driven by desires. But on the other hand these doubts are the signs that the individual wants to buy something.

Using the doubts of individuals as buying signs is basic in marketing. These doubts are “duty driven actions”. Therefore they should not be avoided. Individuals can only be influenced positively if their “ideals” are considered and their doubts responded.

The buying process enters in a rational field if a compromise between desire and duty has been achieved. In this case the objective of marketing has been fulfilled.

The last step, the satisfaction of a desire, depends on the client. This process is accelerated when adequate marketing objects are being used. The message of “objects” is more credible than the message of “selling subjects”. The more objects are used the easier it is to follow the buying process of a client.

The exceptions are the “sales wizards” who are gifted and can read the mind of their potential clients.

Unicist Standard 2011 for Unicist Confederation’s Members

The Unicist Standard to be used by the members of the Unicist Confederation beginning on January 3, 2011 has been integrated in the Unicist Monitor for Business Intelligence.

This implies an upgrade in the work procedures that allows developing the technical analytical solutions for the clients in any part of the world while there is a centralized quality assurance and a local customer, project and implementation management.

It is the first year that the standard includes the information of the “clinic history” of the clients and the complexity research system in order to be able to decentralize in a team the diagnosing and strategy building activity.

The traditional Factbook to develop the descriptive and static diagnoses is also included in the Unicist Monitor.

Alliances of the Corporate University with Business Schools

From today on Diana Belohlavek will be managing the alliances of The Unicist Corporate University with Business Schools worldwide.

The objective is to develop the Unicist Standard Technology Transfer Programs for individuals worldwide.

The technology transfer programs include:
– Unicist Business Strategy
– Unicist Strategic Diagnostics Program
– Unicist Business Groups

The technologies are transferred to the participants for personal use.

Diana Belohlavek’s brief:

Diana Belohlavek is currently the VP for Knowledge Management & Communication at The Unicist Research Institute.
Her postgraduate studies were in research methodologies at The Unicist Corporate University.
One of the personal interests that has influenced her professional career the most has been the study of myths from an anthropological point of view.
She was a swimmer and a triathlete. Her research work has allowed her to integrate her competitive experience in sports with her personal development and institutional management.
Diana Belohlavek is a member of the Executive Committee of The Unicist Research Institute and the Unicist Confederation. She is also member of the Unicist Confedertion’s Partners Admission Committee.
She is a lecturer in the field of unicist technologies and unicist thinking. She is a member of the Organizing Committee of the Unicist International Conferences.

Unicist Adaptive System Management: The Cicada and the Ant

The characteristics of adaptive systems are objective. There is no room for subjectivity.

Dealing with adaptive systems implies accepting that they are complex.

Responsibility for results must be assumed in order to deal with adaptive systems.

This appears to be a paradox because dealing with adaptive systems implies that individuals cannot change adaptive systems, just influence them, but at the same time they have to assume the responsibility for results.

This requires having a previous reliable knowledge of the adaptive system and its functionality.

Therefore the first step when approaching an adaptive complex system is making an accurate diagnosis in order to know if one can assume the responsibility for producing results.

For example, when dealing with counseling, it is necessary to diagnose the counterpart in order to know if one can manage the counseling process.
