Benchmarking Research

There is an initial benchmarking research to define the dominant frameworks that are used to manage high potentials. This research will provide the information of the main alternative approaches that are used in the USA, Canada, the European Union, Argentina and Brazil.
The research is developed through a short video interview where the benchmarks are defined. This research is for large and global companies that manage their high potentials.
The output of this research is a synthetic description of the main alternative approaches that is shared with the participants.
The participants in this research might or not participate in the R&D Project that is described below.

The Objective of the R&D Project

The 4th Industrial Revolution triggered the need of expanding the mindset to deal with a higher level of adaptiveness and customer orientation to foster growth. The objective is to define a complementary framework that allows increasing the efficacy of high potentials to manage adaptive environments and foster their sustainable growth in this new stage.
This requires introducing a strategic approach to manage the adaptive aspects of businesses and an approach to deal with the root causes of problems to develop sustainable solutions.

The Basics Behind this Project

The Unicist Research Institute introduced a paradigm shift in sciences, based on the discovery of the intelligence that underlies nature, which expanded the boundaries of sciences and allowed dealing with the adaptive aspects of reality by managing their underlying concepts, making them reasonable, understandable and predictable.

This basic research drove to the discovery of the triadic functionality of human conscious intelligence, the ontogenetic maps of learning in complex environments, the unicist strategy that emulates the intelligence that underlies nature and the development of the Unicist Artificial Intelligence.

These discoveries and developments established the basics for the development of high potentials and their education.

The educational approach of High Potentials implies the use of Reflection Driven Education with the use of Unicist Artificial Intelligence to emulate business functions to empower the strategic approach of the participants.

The Context: Industry 4.0

Industry 4.0 implies introducing adaptiveness in organizations. Business functions are adaptive when their functionality is feedback dependent. The Unicist Research Institute has been, since 1976, one of the precursors of Industry 4.0 through the development of complexity sciences to deal with adaptive systems and environments.

This concept applied to business requires managing the root causes of processes to ensure their reliability. This requires managing the concepts of the business functions involved. The level of industrialization depends on the outputs that need to be produced by the business functions. Therefore, different levels of industrialization coexist in most organizations.
Industry 4.0 became possible due to the evolution of IT technologies, conceptual management and artificial intelligence. Its goal is to develop businesses as adaptive systems, which implies customer orientation and improving productivity and quality that naturally foster market growth and profit improvement.
As the previous industrial revolutions, Industry 4.0 will coexist with the previous stages, providing a significant competitive advantage for those who can enter this stage.

The Collaborative Research Project


This activity is for regional and global organizations that manage their high potentials.

The 4th Industrial Revolution and the millennials introduced a transition in social evolution, driving towards a purpose driven approach that empowers the possibilities of businesses.

On the one hand, IT drove business processes to an operational level where the leaders need to have the concepts of processes to manage businesses.

On the other hand, the discovery of the functionality of concepts and the fact that human actions are driven by the concepts people have, opened the possibility for empowering the approach to talent development.

Managing Strategies and the Root Causes of Businesses

1) The development of the Unicist Strategy, that emulates the intelligence that underlies nature, allowed defining the possibilities of a project, developing maximal strategies to grow and minimum strategies to ensure results and implementing pilot tests to confirm the functionality of the strategies.

2) The discovery that the functionality of the concepts and fundamentals define the root causes of the problems in adaptive environments allowed developing the unicist root cause management to manage business problems.

The root causes of businesses build the sustainability of enterprises. The Unicist System is based on integrating the efficacy of people with processes and business objects based on the institutionalization of their role.
The knowledge of the structure of the concepts of what one is doing, gives people the freedom to choose among multiple alternative ways to act, without losing the focus on the purpose that has to be achieved. It allows integrating participation, knowledge and concepts to ensure sustainable business processes.

The Project

This project, as all the activities of The Unicist Research Institute, begins with the use of a “prototype” that works as a hypothetical solution that is changed and modified until a final solution has been confirmed.
This project is coordinated by Peter Belohlavek with the participation of Diana Belohlavek as the executive manager:

The participation of the members of this project is virtual with two real time activities per month (1 hour) plus a destructive testing system for the solutions that are being built. There is a private forum to exchange opinions among the members and a private system to discuss with the coordinator.
All participants need to access the Unicist Business Strategy model, that allows developing maximal and minimum strategies managing the root causes of businesses. For this purpose, they participate in a virtual program that includes 4 virtual 2-hour micro-clinics and a counseling process that allows accessing the growth, predictability and controllability of businesses.


This project will be finished within 6 months. Participants might be included during the development processes after they access the Unicist Business Strategy model. The goal is to develop a model that empowers the business and allows influencing the establishment of regulations that foster its evolution.

Output & Final Meeting

The output is a solution, where the generic non-confidential aspects might be published with the format of an e-book, provisionally named “Leadership 4.0”, that includes the credits for all the participants. The decision for publishing requires full consensus.
