The Partnering Model

Concept: Technologies as a Service - A Post-Industrial Business Model

Unicist Conceptual Management

The unicist business technologies are an upgrade that is based on the object driven organization, which emulates the organization of nature, and the unicist strategy that emulates the intelligence of nature. They are basically focused on business growth, based on the paradigm shift in sciences introduced by the Unicist Theory.

The Unicist Research Institute introduced a paradigm shift that drove business strategy, architecture, marketing and management to a superior level. This opened a new market based on unicist technologies that build structural solutions focused on business expansion. This is a technology business that is not based on providing hours. The price of the technologies does not depend on consultation hours but on the investment in R&D.

These developments demanded a significant investment in research made at The Unicist Research Institute (TURI). TURI leads the trend of the organization by roles and business objects that emulates the intelligence of nature.

The goal of the Unicist Confederation, the business arm of TURI, is to expand the use of the unicist technologies that were developed. This expansion is managed by the use of virtual marketing programs to expand the business itself and the complementary business of our partners and associates.

Some Corporations that use objects in their organization are: Airbus, Amazon, Apple, BBC, Boeing, Dassault Systemes, Dupont, Ericsson, Facebook, General Electric, Google, Hilton, Honda, Hyundai, LinkedIn, Lufthansa, Mapfre, Mayo Clinic, Michelin, Novartis, Open Text, P&G, Pfizer, SAP, Siemens, Tata Motors, Toyota, Unilever, Walmart, Walt Disney World and Youtube.

The core value propositions are:

The Unicist Confederation

A Cooperative Business Model

TURI Brief

The Unicist Confederation is the business arm of The Unicist Research Institute that works as a multilocal-cooperative-confederation sited in Delaware. It is integrated by partners and associates who provide unicist technologies in their region and to the global market. Our partners and associates have to be "primus inter pares" in the market.

The unicist approach introduced a paradigm shift in the field of business strategy, markets and business & IT architecture that expanded the boundaries of business technologies. These are high value technologies that are transferred as a service (TaaS) and as educational programs.

After 40 years of an extreme low profile, 2017 is the year of the global expansion of the unicist technologies that emulate the intelligence of nature. More than 5,000 researches developed during this period allowed discovering the concepts and fundamentals that drive social, institutional and individual behavior and define their nature.

These researches included the development of the unicist technologies, which are registered/patented intellectual property and require closing confidentiality, non-disclosure and non-compete agreements with our partners and associates.

We invite potential professional partners and associates to explore participating in this business expansion, based on the use of the unicist virtual marketplace building technology and internet marketing, that is already ongoing.

The Unicist Approach: Beyond System Dynamics to deal with adaptive environments

Technologies as a Service

The Unicist Approach to business went beyond the systemic approach and is based on the emulation of the intelligence of nature. The system dynamics approach and the unicist approach to complexity were created for different purposes.

The System Dynamics Approach

The system dynamics approach was created to develop solutions in complex controllable adaptive environments by managing their operational structures. This approach manages univocal relationships and univocal cause-effect actions and their feedback.

The Unicist Approach

On the other hand, the unicist approach was created to develop solutions in complex influenceable adaptive environments by managing their nature given by their functional concepts. This approach manages bi-univocal relationships and double dialectical actions and their feedback.

Unicist FAQ

1) On what is the unicist approach based?

The unicist approach is based on the emulation of the intelligence that underlies nature, named ontogenetic intelligence of nature, which regulates the evolution of living beings having a triadic structure (purpose, active principle, energy conservation principle) that integrates a maximal strategy to grow and a minimum strategy to survive.

Learn more

2) What is the Unicist Conceptual Management Model?

Unicist Conceptual Management is the synthesis of the nature of business management. It includes the management of the future scenario that allows designing a strategy, the knowledge of the root-causes of problems and the root-drivers of business processes, the development of the conceptual design to define these processes and the development of the maximal and minimum strategy actions to ensure results.

Learn more

3) What is the meaning of the emulation of nature?

Nature is organized by objects, which have multiple functions. The organs of the human body are evident objects in natural processes. Emulating nature implies organizing by the use of objects that have a purpose, an added value and an intrinsic quality assurance process to ensure their functionality.

Learn more

4) What are objects in nature?

Objects in nature are complex adaptive entities that have a purpose in the ecosystem they belong to, have an added value to the environment and a quality assurance function that ensures their survival. An evident example of objects are the organs of the human body.

Learn more

5) What is unicist conceptual design?

The purpose of conceptual design is to define the process architecture of the solution. The emulation of the solution becomes possible if the conceptual knowledge of the solution is available. The conceptual knowledge requires managing the ontogenetic map that defines the functionality of the concept that drives the solution.

Learn more

6) What are businesses objects?

Unicist business objects are encapsulated adaptive systems that produce predefined results that can be inserted in work processes to increase productivity and quality and to save energy. Objects are productive adaptive units that have a concept, an added value, the necessary quality assurance and a methodology to ensure the minimum strategy. To imagine an object please consider an automatic pilot in an airplane. It can be considered a “paradigmatic” object.

Learn more

7) What are double dialectical actions?

The double dialectical actions are actions driven by the maximal and minimum strategies that are integrated by the purpose that needs to be achieved. Double dialectical actions are necessary to produce results in adaptive environments. These maximal and minimum strategies are contradictory at an operational level but need to coexist to ensure results in adaptive environments.

8) What is the unicist ontology?

The Unicist Ontology describes the nature of reality by emulating the ontogenetic intelligence of nature. There is an ontological logic to understand the nature of a given reality. Nature is not a question of opinion. From a functional point of view, the nature of a specific reality is unique. This implies that there can only be “one” unicist ontology of something.

Learn more

9) What are ontogenetic maps?

Ontogenetic maps are conceptual ontological maps that define the ontogenetic algorithms that explain the nature of an adaptive entity or system and its dynamics of evolution and functionality.

Learn more

10) What is the unicist standard?

The Unicist Standard defines the structures and the unified fields that have to be managed in an adaptive system in order to organize it and achieve the results that have been defined as possible. This allows managing the unified field of human adaptive systems in a reasonable, understandable and provable way.

Learn more

11) What is the unicist unified field?

The unicist unified field is defined by the ontogenetic map of a function or system and is materialized in processes and objects that allow achieving the purpose of such function. When it is integrated by people and/or groups of people it includes the definition of roles.

Learn more

12) What is the unicist theory?

The Unicist Theory explains the evolution and dynamics of complex adaptive entities whether they are natural beings or artificial entities. This theory is based on the discovery of the triadic structure of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature.

Learn more

13) What is the essential difference between the unicist approach to sciences and the preexisting approaches?

The preexisting approaches were based on a dualistic, empiric and univocal (cause-effect) approach to adaptive systems dealing with the KNOW-HOW of things. The unicist approach is based on a triadic (pragmatic-structuralist-functional) and bi-univocal approach that deals with the KNOW-HOW and the KNOW-WHY of the evolution of things.

Learn more

14) What is the operational difference between the unicist technologies to adaptive environments and the preexisting approaches?

The preexisting approaches were based on the development of univocal (cause-effect) actions to generate results, while the unicist technologies are based on the development of double dialectical actions that include the development of maximal actions to grow and minimum strategies to ensure survival.

Learn more

15) What is the unicist paradigm shift in sciences?

The paradigm shift of the Unicist Theory is based on the discovery of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature, which is the intelligence that underlies nature and is based on emulating the maximal and minimum strategies that are implicit in such intelligence.

Learn more

16) Where are the unicist technologies necessary?

The unicist technologies are necessary to ensure results when dealing with adaptive environments. Every problem is complex when a possible, predefined, result needs to be achieved.

Learn more

17) What are the unicist object driven technologies for businesses?

They are technologies that include driving objects, inhibiting objects, entropy inhibiting objects, catalyzing objects and gravitational objects to save energy when designing processes. These objects have to fulfill the Unicist Standard to ensure the saving of energy.

Learn more

18) What is the concept of unicist strategy?

Unicist Strategies are based on the emulation of the strategies implicit in the intelligence that underlies nature and imply the existence of a maximal strategy, with its implicit actions, to grow or expand and a minimum strategy, with its implicit actions, in order to ensure survival.

Learn more

19) What is the concept of unicist IT architecture?

The unicist IT architecture is based on the integration of IT architecture and business architecture, which requires managing the conceptual design of business functions and defining their unified field that integrates processes, roles and objects emulating the organization of nature.

Learn more

20) What is the concept of unicist marketing?

Unicist marketing is based on the discovery of the roots of human intelligence and the use of a unicist strategic approach to develop maximal and minimum marketing actions. It includes the use of commercial, semantic and semiotic objects to influence buying processes and the development of customer profiles based on the use of the unicist segmentation model and the conceptual structures of the markets that have been researched.

Learn more

21) What is unicist superior education?

The Unicist Education is a superior education model that is based on the learning of structural solutions for businesses, considering them as adaptive systems. All the programs are based on managing the structure of businesses by understanding their functions, concepts, processes, roles and objects in order to build structural solutions. The unicist educational technology for superior education allows transferring conceptual business technologies to individuals. This approach is based on transferring technologies in a “solution building factory” environment.

Learn more

22) Why is reflection driven education necessary?

The unicist reflection process, which is based on an action-reflection-action process, allows apprehending the concepts of reality. This is necessary to manage the nature of things when a complex adaptive environment needs to be managed. It has to be considered that any adaptive environment becomes complex when predefined results need to be achieved. Unicist education uses reflection processes because it is focused on businesses considered as adaptive systems.

Unicist Logical Systems

Logical systems to deal with adaptive environments

The Unicist Approach to Business

The activity of partners and associates is sustained by the use of unicist logical systems. These systems were developed using the patented “unicist mechanics” that is based on the emulation of the intelligence of nature. The core systems are: the unicist strategy building system, the unicist conceptual design system, the unicist scorecard system and the unicist diagnostics system.

The unicist strategy building system allows defining the maximal and minimum strategies of a business and its functions and the maximal and minimum strategy actions that need to be implemented to ensure results.

The unicist conceptual design system allows defining the conceptual design of a business based on its nature and the nature of its processes.

The unicist scorecard system allows monitoring the dynamics of businesses, integrating the vision of shareholders, clients/customers and stakeholders. It is complementary with the use of the balanced scorecard. It monitors the sustainability of businesses and their functions.

The unicist diagnostics system allows developing structural diagnoses of problems to build sustainable solutions.

The unicist marketing system allows developing structural segments and profiles to develop marketing objects and marketing processes.

Unicist Business Coaching

Providing technologies as a service

Unicist Business Coaching

“The Unicist Business Coaching is a “knowledge business” for doers that is developed by doers. UBC assumes a catalyzing role in business.

The UBC has three integrated simultaneous clients: the company, the coachee and the projects. It provides the necessary conceptual knowledge that allows managing the fundamentals of business processes to ensure the achievement of the business goals that have been established. This role requires that coaches assume the responsibility for avoiding fallacies to ensure results.

Unicist business coaches provide conceptual knowledge by using knowledge objects that guide the coachees in the process of transforming conceptual knowledge into results.

The business coaching agreements can be made based on fixed fees or success fees.”

Second Opinion Diagnoses

An adjacent activity of unicist coaches is the development of 2nd opinion diagnoses for their clients. These diagnoses are made using the Unicist Expert System that allows ensuring the accuracy of the diagnoses.

The Unicist School

Fostering sustainable growth based on the emulation of nature

The Unicist School

The Unicist School is integrated by members who decided to emulate the intelligence of nature when dealing with complex or adaptive environments.

The school, with more than 80,000 followers in 56 countries, is a school of thought that fosters the emulation of the intelligence of nature through the use of double dialectical strategies and actions to manage complex environments.

The discovery of the intelligence of nature, applied to individual, institutional and social evolution, allowed emulating nature by developing maximal strategies to grow and evolve, and minimum strategies to ensure survival.

The resulting Unicist Theory is a paradigm shift of the scientific approach to nature and complex environments, which is based on the emulation of the intelligence of nature and thus opened the access to what is possible to be achieved and how to make it happen. This allowed emulating nature and developing the double dialectical logic, double dialectical strategies and double dialectical actions to understand, influence and ensure results in adaptive environments.

About Alliances & Members of the Confederation

A Confederation based on "Cooperation in Diversity"

Alliances - Working Agreements

The Unicist Confederation establishes alliances and working agreements with organizations that provide complementary technologies and solutions to the market (for midsize, large and global companies).

Depending on their objectives, these agreements are established with The Unicist Research Institute or with the Captive Partner of the Confederation. The characteristics of the agreements depend on the type of complementation.

1) Corporate Partners

Corporate Partnering is based on the development of agreements with companies to install the use of the unicist technologies, unicist systems or In-company universities in their facilities. The conditions of corporate partnering vary from case to case.

2) Professional Partners

Professional Partners are organizations of consultants that decided to adopt the unicist technologies to approach business solutions. They need to have two professionals who have the necessary technical and systemic knowledge that permits accessing the unicist technologies driven by objects, through the unicist educational program, that allow managing the complex adaptive aspects of businesses.

It is required that the professional partners organize a unicist division to run the business, which is marketed using Virtual Internet Marketing based on Image Driven Marketing. This division needs to generate more than 30% of the revenue of the Partner.

As most of services are rendered using virtual collaboration, the market of a Partner has no geographical boundaries; Partners own the clients they have generated.

The first Partnering model is done for two years. During this period, professional Partners who decided to establish a permanent relationship, need to participate in The Unicist Research Institute as shareholders by buying a share. The price of this share is 50% of the contribution margin of a year. It has to be considered that the basic cost of the technologies is given by the investment in R&D; these costs are included in the prices but assumed as “sunk costs” in the organization. The implementation costs are 10% of the revenue.

There will be two members of the professional partners' group participating as members of the board (which has 5 members). During the first two years, the revenue is shared based on who assumes the responsibility of ensuring which results. The permanent partnering is based on the payment of royalties and fees for quality assurance.

3) Associates type A

Individual professionals can participate as Associates developing a niche market using Virtual Internet Marketing based on Image Driven Marketing. They have to complete the educational program and manage the marketing activities based on the campaigns provided by TURI. They own the clients they generated. The role of associate can be used as an initial stage to access the role of a professional partner.

The revenues are shared between TURI and the Associate based on who assumes the responsibility for ensuring which results. The sharing model evolves based on the professional evolution of the Associates.

It has to be considered that the basic cost of the technologies is given by the investment in R&D; these costs are included in the prices but assumed as “sunk costs” in the organization. The implementation costs are 10% of the revenue.

The partnering agreements with Associates are established for two years and are renewable. The conditions for Associates are established case by case based on their professional characteristics. Associates need to be fully dedicated to the unicist technologies business after a one year transition period.

4) Associates type B

This type of associates are professionals who participate in the development of unicist programs as counselors while they participate in a Unicist Strategy Program for Graduates, unless they already have a certification of the Unicist Corporate University. These professionals participate in the business based on niche segmented agreements. This category implies a one-year agreement, although they can switch to the category of Associates type "A" any time during this period. This switch needs to be approved by TURI.

The Educational Programs for Partners, Associates and their Professionals

Our Partners and Associates need to manage the conceptual approach to businesses that allows assuming the responsibility for developing reliable solutions that ensure results. This activity requires participating in a 9-month program, based on the unicist object driven learning technology, that is developed by the Unicist Corporate University.

These learning programs are based on real applications of the partners and associates with their clients. During the first 3 months in which the partner/associate participates in the program, the clients cannot be charged. All our Partners and Associates are users of the unicist technologies in their own business.

All the professionals involved in the Technology as a Service developments need to be experts in their field of application. The expertise is certified by the Unicist Corporate University and has a validity of 2 years and does not require participating in the educational programs for Partners and Associates.

The Partnering Process

A Cooperative Model

Ethical Intelligence

The Allies, Partners and Associates (Members) of the Unicist Confederation need to have invested in understanding the fundamentals of the unicist approach, manage the unicist logic to deal with the nature of businesses and the unified field of business functions to ensure results. They are users of the unicist technologies to manage their own business in order to be credible in the market.

The business deals with the expansion of the market for our Members. It is a technology business and not an hour selling business. Selling to existing clients requires special authorizations from the Confederation. The economic aspects begin with the sharing of revenue in the case of Alliances and end with the payment of royalties and quality assurance fees in the case of Partners.

There is no investment required to become a member. All that has to be paid are the learning programs, the unicist logical systems and the continuous Internet marketing campaigns to make value propositions to the market and empower the brand of the Member. As the commercial activities are virtual, and the implementation is based on virtual collaboration, there are no regional boundaries in the business. The Members “own” the clients they develop.

The partnering process of the Members requires:

1) Understanding the fundamentals of the unicist approach and becoming a user of the unicist technologies to expand their own business.

2) Defining the niche or segment where the Member will develop the unicist business. This business has to be complementary to the present business of the Member.

3) Defining the size of the potential market.

4) Negotiating an agreement based on the preceding information. It has to be considered that this is not a Franchise but a Cooperative Confederation where the members can become shareholders of the Unicist Group.

5) The process begins with personal virtual meetings to ensure the compatibility of the business approaches.
