Unicist Management Systems

The Unicist Management Systems are based on the Conceptual Management Model that was developed to increase the effectiveness of organizations by integrating fundamentals and technical analytical knowledge in the management processes. The Unicist Management System includes:

A Business Intelligence System: to build competitive intelligence, critical intelligence and structural intelligence and building the context of businesses

Unicist Contingency Rooms: to transform urgent problems into structural solutions.

Performance Management System: to monitor the functionality of both the systemic functions and the adaptive functions of businesses.

Unicist Conceptual Design Groups:  to develop the dynamic business process architectures using the XD design technology that has been developed to deal with complex adaptive environments.

The Unicist Management Systems integrate the existing systems of organizations. The system provides the root-causes of the business and its context.  It also works as a Decision Support System that can be used in situation rooms.

The Unicist Business Intelligence System

The Unicist Business Intelligence System was developed to provide business intelligence reports or install Situation Rooms for the superior management of the organization.

The unicist approach integrates the three universal concepts of business intelligence:

  • Competitive Intelligence
  • Critical Intelligence
  • Structural Intelligence

This system deals with the management of businesses considered as unified fields with their markets.

The Unicist Approach to business intelligence is based on the use of unicist technologies that allow defining the information that is necessary to build competitive intelligence, critical intelligence and structural intelligence and building the context of businesses. It provides the information on the possible root causes of problems and the indicators and predictors of the evolution of a business.

Unicist Contingency Rooms

Unicist Contingency Rooms are organizational units that transform urgent problems into structural solutions. These units are basically organized as teams led by a person who is responsible for the Contingency Room.

Their final purpose is to solve an urgent problem. Their maximal strategy is to develop the structural solutions while the minimum strategy is to solve the urgent problems.

Every team has a coordinator, an ombudsman and a fallacy shooter. When they begin their teamwork, the leadership includes the participation of a coordinator, who assumes the responsibility for doing what is needed to find the solutions for the problem that needs to be solved, an ombudsman to represent the needs of the client and a fallacy shooter who ensures that the group manages valid knowledge.

It has to be considered that when a structural solution is found, the problem ceases to exist. Therefore, contingency rooms generate significant added value in their organizations because they ensure the concept of “today better than yesterday” measured in terms of results.

Unicist Performance Management

The Unicist Performance Management System monitors the functionality of both the systemic functions and the adaptive functions of businesses.

The systemic functions are monitored using the Balanced Scorecard and KPIs which are based on the technical analytical knowledge of the activity.

The adaptive functions need to be monitored with the Unicist Scorecard which is based on fundamental analysis.

The Unicist Standard implies the integration of the Unicist Scorecard with the necessary KPIs to monitor the businesses providing the input to define when diagnoses have to be made in order to make decisions.

Understanding the fundamentals of the business is required to develop the performance management of the adaptive functions of the activity.

Unicist Conceptual Design Groups

The development of processes, projects, systems and solutions in adaptive environments requires managing the concepts involved in order to ensure the results to be obtained.

The conceptual design ensures the functionality of a solution.

The Unicist Conceptual Design Groups develop their activities using the XD design technology that has been developed to deal with complex adaptive environments. They include three roles: a coordinator, a fallacy shooter and an ombudsman.

Unicist conceptual design manages the root-causes of problems and the root-drivers of solutions.

It becomes necessary to ensure results in adaptive environments by managing the fundamentals of the solutions, defining the necessary functions that are integrated as a unified field and ending with the definition of a dynamic process architecture.
