Unicist Logical Approach: Diagnoses managed as medical objects

Medical objects are encapsulated adaptive processes that have the necessary quality assurance to generate a predefined result.

Diagnostics Quality AssuranceMedical diagnoses happen within the scope of medicine but are regulated by the functional rules of universal diagnostics and are driven by the semiotic signs the diagnostician identifies.

Diagnoses can be considered from two different points of view. Seen from the diagnostician’s standpoint, they are a process that needs to be done to identify the problem that needs to be cured. But seen from the point of view of the therapeutic process, they are a medical object that defines the objective of the therapeutic process.

As a medical object, they need to have the necessary quality assurance to be fully reliable. To achieve this reliability they need to be based on reliable knowledge and develop the necessary destructive and non-destructive tests to confirm their validity.

As an object, they work as an adaptive system that modifies the diagnosis based on the feedback from the environment until the therapeutic process has shown its accuracy. The destructive tests are necessary to evaluate the limits of validity of the diagnoses while the non-destructive tests are done to confirm their functional validity.

To manage diagnoses as medical objects it is necessary that the EHR includes the possibility of managing them as adaptive systems.

The Intelligence Quotient only measures dualistic logic

Our work and research with gifted people, having an IQ above 130 drove to the conclusion that this gift allows adapting to aspects of reality that can be managed with dualistic logic. Gifted people are extremely successful when dealing with dualistic environments solving systemic problems.

But, on the other hand, they tend to generate fallacious behaviors when they are forced to enter into complex adaptive systems if they do not have the skills for developing action-reflection-action processes. In this context these processes allow apprehending the nature of complex systems in order to be able to manage them.

These individuals tend to use systemic palliatives to avoid dealing with complexity (such as: statistics, analogies, etc.). What allows them to deal with complexity is their level of ontointelligence, which includes their type of thought, their strategic intelligence and their ethical intelligence.

The problem with many high IQ individuals is that their gift is also their handicap. And this “handicap” hinders their reflection capacity unless they are able to use conceptual thinking and have a value adding ethical intelligence to approach reality.

The conclusion is that an extreme high IQ is not an advantage to deal with complex adaptive systems such as businesses. It is a gift to manage the systemic aspects of processes but it is a handicap to deal with the adaptive aspects.

Dualistic logic is functional to deal with systemic problems but drives to “aprioristic” fallacies when dealing with complex problems. The IQ allows managing dualistic logic to deal with systemic problems and ontointelligence allows managing the double dialectical logic to solve complex problems.

Business Hackers; the Agents who Introduce Business Viruses

Business Hackers are individuals who need to implant business viruses in institutions in order to demonstrate that they are able to dominate them.

They tend to do everything in their way disregarding the use of established methods, procedures and taxonomies to achieve goals.

To introduce viruses they propose short-cuts to achieve profit. Their success is achieved when their proposal is accepted by the greed of their counterparts.

Their butterfly behavior is sustained by conjunctural justifications and the exertion of power. They might use active power or the power of inaction.

Their destruction goal is integrated by envy which is driven by greed and jealousy. They use greed to profit from the environment at a materialistic or emotional level while they feel jealous of the power the organization has.

They are fulfilled when the organizational goals become degraded. They justify their actions by believing and saying that the organization is not such because it could not resist their actions. They are homologous to “computer hackers”.

Inhibiting and entropy-inhibiting unicist business objects are the anti-viruses needed to neutralize their actions.

Diagnoses are necessary to improve business processes

The unicist diagnostics technology was developed to provide a standard for the diagnosis of adaptive systems whatever the field of activity. It has been a methodology used in the Unicist R&D processes for years until it was approved as a standard.

The purpose of the diagnosis is to find a solution. That is why only those who know how to solve a problem can diagnose it.

Autopsies are not homologous to unicist diagnoses. A dead body is not considered an adaptive system and no solution can be found for it.

Unicist Diagnostics is based on fundamental diagnoses that deal with the unified field of the adaptive system and technical analytical diagnoses that deal with the signs and symptoms based diagnoses.

Healthcare: The ontogentic algorithm of evolution

Evolution implies the existence of a taxonomy to achieve a purpose. The first step appears to be putting the purpose into action. This implies a previous taxonomic step: the understanding of the purpose.

Then the first step is putting it into action. Without understanding no action is possible.

The second step is then finding a way to optimize the energy; thus the energy conservation principle is applied.

When this taxonomy is respected and successful, individual are evolving. This implies that they add value to the environment, obtain the counterpart and learn from the environment at the same time.

Evolution implies being aware of reality and making conscious actions in order to adapt to the environment.

Unicist Standard: The Past and the Future are not symmetric

Future can only be managed knowing the fundamentals that rule it. The Unicist Standard was developed to influence reality in order to make a “future” happen.

unicist-time-managementThe “future” (fundamentals) drives action and the “past” (technical analytical knowledge) sustains the energy conservation.

Maximal strategies are driven by the knowledge of fundamentals and minimum strategies are sustained by the technical analytical knowledge.

Future scenarios, diagnoses, strategies and business organization are typical activities that deal with the future. As past and future are not symmetric, a different result can only be achieved if the fundamentals are managed.

Fundamentals are, by definition, the functional description of the essences (the nature) of a specific reality and require an extreme effort of abstraction in order to “grasp” them.

This abstraction is what we call unicist reflection which is necessary to apprehend the nature of something. The core of the reflection process is the confirmation of the hypothetical fundamentals with the necessary “pilot tests” which are real actions in the environment.

The Unicist Standard implies managing the fundamentals of reality to influence the future and having the necessary technical-analytical knowledge to deal with the present based on the past.

It all begins with the knowledge of the fundamentals to find out if the desired future is possible. This is an extreme abstraction effort to deal with a non-symmetric solution.

Only those who need to influence the future in their environment need to deal with fundamental analysis. This is a precondition to manage the Unicist Standard.

Those who are used to working with the “benchmarks” of the past are threatened by this technology. They cannot deal with the innovation that is implicit in the future.

Learning from Procter & Gamble using the Unicist Standard

The notorious capacity of Procter & Gamble is given by the way it manages the social insertion of innovations.

We recommend watching the following two short presentations of Procter & Gamble at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycMXZDybhlw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x93YopVXJSM

Innovation is the basis for economic growth.  Essentially, countries, cultures, institutions, and individuals grow only in the fields where they are open to innovations.

The purpose of innovation is to overcome scarcity. That is why only people or cultures that have the will, find the way to overcome scarcity.  This is the cultural context that fosters innovation.

The driver of innovation is human creation. The word creation is used in the sense of recreation. Humans create based on the existing energy.

The maximal strategy of innovations drives towards the solution of a scarcity. Therefore innovative organizations have the perception that they add value to the environment. But this is only true if the minimum strategy is also fulfilled.

The minimum strategy implies inserting the innovations into the social capital of the environment. Social capital is defined by the strength of the bonds that integrate the members of a community.

Commercial innovations need to be only one step ahead of the habits of the environment. If they are more than one step ahead they fail, unless there is an extreme need and they are, implicitly, a “back to basics”.

In this field Procter & Gamble is a notorious benchmark.

Understanding Cultures: The Archetype of China

The archetype of China is a unique case of a culture that has the capacity to grow based on the internal consistency of its model, a model that became complementary to the globalization process.

We strongly recommend watching the following video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mRlgQKWlnQ

China’s Structure

China is a culture based on the consistency of the social and individual efforts and the capacity of accepting trade-offs to achieve the goals of the country.

The Chinese model has to be understood in itself without comparing it with other countries. It has multiple economic models working simultaneously. It is neither a communist nor a capitalist model. It uses multiple unique solutions which imply permanent trade-offs between the different models to achieve its growth.

The Communist Party can be considered as homologous to the ancient nobility in Europe but representing the interests of China as a country and the needs of its population.

Entering the Communist Party needs to be earned because within the party there has to be an ideological consistency to allow a democratic behavior. The Communist Party is the “Establishment” of China.

Confucius’ Concept

Confucianism is a functional philosophy for a culture that needs to grow in a context of an extremely large country with a large population. Order is necessary to sustain consistency.

Minorities in China have to behave within the limits of the explicit and implicit Chinese model. Censorship and self-censorship are a need to avoid that the culture loses its consistency. But although censorship becomes necessary in this context, it is also the implicit weakness of the Chinese archetype.

Cultures evolve based on their implicit weaknesses. Therefore, a generational change can be expected in this field depending on the new trade-offs the culture will make.

A Shielded Culture

China has been, is and will be a shielded archetype, protecting its culture and beliefs in order to ensure its consistency and allowing making the necessary trade-offs to grow.

This shield was represented by the Chinese Wall in the past, and now it is represented by the multiple regulations that establish the framework of the country.

Maximal Strategy

The maximal strategy of China is driven by the working capacity of the culture and the catalyst for the minimum strategy is their cultural shield that ensures the consistency of its actions. The cultural shield works as a protection from foreign influence and internal distortions.

Minimum Strategy

The minimum strategy is driven by the individual working capacity of its population. The entropy inhibitor, to ensure the achievement of growth, is the ideological shield that ensures the focus of the efforts on the objectives that are being achieved.

The personal capacity of making trade-offs is installed in the population and makes individuals extremely focused achievers.

To apprehend the Chinese archetype it is necessary to understand Doers, avoiding ideological, religious or social comparisons. China was, is and will be unique. China doesn’t base its expansion on exporting culture, but on exporting products.

Unicist Future Research: The Archetype of China

We invite you to apprehend the nature of China’s archetype. But consider that it is necessary to avoid comparisons with other cultures.

“The reach of one’s globalization is defined by the limit of the pronoun WE.”

If you are really interested in understanding the Chinese archetype we recommend listening to the lecture you find at:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mRlgQKWlnQ

We strongly recommend “reading between lines” to apprehend the fundamentals of the culture. Access the information on the unicist ontology of economic behavior at: https://www.unicist.org/healthcare/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/ontology_economy_en.pdf

Only if the culture is within the limits of your “WE” you will be able to perceive aspects of the Chinese archetype.

Next week you will have access to the essential aspects of China’s culture on this blog.

The Unicist Standard needs to be a Rolls-Royce

Benchmarking Rolls-Royce is necessary for all those products or activities that are considered prestigious by the community and that need to sustain their seeking for perfection to achieve their credibility in the market.

In the following lines you can find the answers to the questions posed in this previous post:
http://www.unicist.net/partners-news/benchmarking-is-the-unicist-standard-a-rolls-royce/

A Rolls-Royce is an extremely prestigious car because it has extreme functionality, quality, added value and reliability.

The integration of these four extreme characteristics makes its positioning as a prestigious car possible.

The purpose of a “Rolls-Royce” is to satisfy the feeling of having achieved perfection. Perfection is considered as something that satisfies 100% the expectancy of the buyer. This means that a “Rolls-Royce” satisfies the needs of the buyer considered as an individual, as part of a group and within her/his social environment.

Every activity or product that requires perfection, in the above described sense, needs to position as a “Rolls-Royce”.  This can be frequently seen in medicine, in politics, in strategy, and in all those fields where the value added is extreme and extreme reliability is expected.

The extreme functionality mentioned above has two aspects. It has to be extremely functional as a device but also extremely functional in its operation. This implies that no one can expect a superior functionality in the market.

The need for extreme quality implies extreme quality assurance and extreme control. Thus reliability and extreme added value are sustained.

Therefore the process of Rolls-Royce building includes an extremely strict concept, its update in the field of scientific possibilities, the management of all the techniques necessary to achieve perfection and last, but not least, the necessary art to make the perfection perceivable by the community.

Rolls-Royce building and positioning is not a question of choice. It is a question of beliefs. But it needs to be said that this does not guarantee success in business.
