This book presents the synthetic result of a research work on human fundamentalistic behaviors. Fundamentalism is an attitude taken by any individual, group or culture whose survival is endangered. It is a natural human behavior when exposed to an extreme threat.<\/div>\n
In these cases humans need “absolute” behaviors, based on transcendent beliefs to escape from the resulting uncertainty. These beliefs can be based on religious, ideological or mythic “truths”.<\/div>\n
