Ordinary people consider that signs and symptoms are the same thing. But it is necessary to talk two different languages in healthcare cybernetics. On the one hand, it is necessary to use the scientific language among physicians, and on the other, common language to deal with patients.
The differentiation of the quality of physicians can be measured in terms of the accuracy of the language they are able to use. We are not talking about the external communication of physicians but about the internal language they are able to use when diagnosing.
