Homology of the DNA of living beings and Unicist Ontologies

The unicist ontology of an institution is essentially analogous to the DNA of a living being. They both define the nature of the being, have an implicit purpose and materialize the action and the energy conservation principles.

Genetic Map

Being aware of the unicist ontological structure that underlies and rules the behavior and evolution of an institution it is possible to define the taxonomies and action plans to ensure the functionality of an organization respecting its nature .

The difference between the DNA of different species is minimal although the physical difference might be enormous.

The same characteristic is given at the unicist ontological structure of institutions. Subtle differences generate different species.

That is why the accuracy of diagnoses of the conceptual structure of an institution is determinant. It defines its species and the possibilities and probabilities of its evolution.

Unicist algorithms for the genetic engineering of institutions

The functionality of algorithms is to provide a logical structure to understand and influence reality in a secure way. Following ontological algorithms an individual is respecting the rules of ontogenesis.

Algorithms describe and explain the natural functionality of a reality and establish the relationships of the objects that are part of such reality based on the ontogenesis of the evolution process.

They provide the natural way to influence institutions. Using unicist ontologies to influence institutions implies dealing with the genetic engineering of the institution.

Therefore, the use of unicist technologies in institutions is based on “change without changing”. That means introducing changes that respect their nature and do not try to change their essential concepts.

NOTE: The Unicist Research Institute is a pioneer in complexity science research. More than 4,000 ontological researches were developed since 1976 until July 2011 in the field of individual, institutional and social evolution. They allowed describing the “DNA” of institutions, defined by the ontogenetic algorithms of their functions, and manage them using ontology based and business object driven solutions.

Lectures of the Unicist Scientific Dissemination Program

The objective of this program is to disseminate worldwide the use of the unicist ontological approaches to manage adaptive systems.

The R&D of complex adaptive systems belongs to the field of complexity science which was and is the field of Peter Belohlavek’s research.

He was the discoverer of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature, of the unicist ontology of evolution, human ontointelligence and multiple applications in the field of individual, institutional and social evolution.

Peter Belohlavek will be in charge of these lectures to give worldwide access to the main applicative unicist ontology based and object driven solutions developed using this approach.

The presentations are live 10-minute mini-lectures (Wednesdays 2:00 pm New York time) for guests, which will then be available on Youtube on the channel of The Unicist Research Institute:

Metaphors are figurative language to build consensus

The purpose of figurative communication is to achieve true consensus which means achieving a rational, emotional and conceptual consensus.

Achieving true consensus requires solving the conflicts which might be driven by interests, needs, beliefs, lack of knowledge, etc.

Metaphors are universal descriptions using analogous examples at a more general field that allow understanding the message that is being communicated.

Metaphors have only one functional interpretation that ensures that the communication is true. Metaphors are necessary to work with complex problems at an operational level.

The metaphors used by the extreme programming methodology show an example of their use. Metaphors focus on the operation of what is being communicated.

Global Expansion of the Unicist Confederation

September 23, the 35th equinox of The Unicist Research Institute, was chosen to be the day for the launching of the new stage which consists of the worldwide multiplication of the Unicist Confederation. We invite you to toast on September 23, at 7:00 pm New York time (sharp).

The launching of the collection for business architecture is what allows now the participation of clients in the field of the businesses of the Unicist Confederation: http://unicist.com/ontologies/architecture/

The next stage is the final structural stage. The following stages will deal with conjunctural aspects.

Finally we are, in the Unicist Confederation business, where we needed to be. I would like to make a synthesis of the next business growth period.

Our goal is to build corporate partnerships with the major clients. That is what will expand the business. We will start dealing with 40 corporations. Partnerships are only possible between peers. This is what TURI, the Unicist Confederation and the Unicist Corporate University are about.

We have the major gravitational force that can be available for a business, which is the research of The Unicist Research Institute (4,100 until September), which continues growing. http://www.unicist.com/

We also have a live gravitational force which is Peter Belohlavek who might be one of the major scientists in the history of humanity because of the depth of his discoveries and the width of his research in complexity sciences. The discovery of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature, the unicist ontology of evolution and human ontointelligence are a demonstration of the depth of the researches that changed the world forever.

The Unicist Business Architecture is now the participative bridge between science and business, it allows everyone to influence with a grounded or groundless opinion.

From now on Peter Belohlavek will be only participating as a scientist to sustain the Unicist Confederation.

We have to become world leaders in the commercial field in six months using the power of the technologies applied to business expansion (including both growth and improvement). March 2012 is the deadline. It has to be the demonstration of an “avalanche”.

Considering the ontology of growth that is in the book of the Crisis 2008, we can say that we have all what is needed to “multiply”. Growth is the most difficult problem to be solved in business. That is why we are there, and the unicist research found the solution for it.

We invite you to toast and participate in the new stage.

Thinking Robotics for the Healthcare System

When talking about robotics we are using the word in its universal meaning including industrial, virtual, home o whatever the function of a robot might be.

Robotics uses a system that allows introducing information of reality, introducing conceptual operational structures to modify the knowledge the system has, making decisions and dealing with the feedback from reality.

The objective of a robot is to develop a work. This work needs to generate value with quality assurance which defines robots as paradigmatic objects.

Objects have a concept that is implicit in their function to generate value, working within the limits of their quality assurance.
When talking about third or fourth generation robots, they include a methodology that allows learning and operating based on pre-established controls and learning processes.

Synthesis

The function of robots is to work and generate value. That is why they are homologous to human work. Each generation of robots develops work in a different way.

First generation robots are based on designing their functions as independent activities.

Second generation robots are based on designing the structures of the context they work with in a strictly hierarchical way.

Third generation robots are based on the control of the variables of the process that is being robotized.

Fourth generation robots are based on the interdependence of their systems and the vision of the unified field they are part of.

Business Architecture needs an integrative vision

The architecture of a business solution needs to be achieved with an integrative vision in which the individual sees the solution as a unified field, being capable of describing then the elements that integrate such solution.

This requires being able to face a reflection process. In the following lines you will have access to a research work carried out by a group of researches from Northwestern University, Drexel University, Philadelphia and Source Signal Imaging.

“People sometimes solve problems with a unique process called insight, accompanied by an “Aha!” experience. It has long been unclear whether different cognitive and neural processes lead to insight versus noninsight solutions, or if solutions differ only in subsequent subjective feeling. Recent behavioral studies indicate distinct patterns of performance and suggest differential hemispheric involvement for insight and noninsight solutions.”

Aesthetics is the core of Steve Jobs’ business approach

Apple’s success is based on the capacity of perceiving the latent needs of the market and delivering original innovative solutions.

We hope you made the effort to learn from Steve Jobs about Apple’s fundamentals as we proposed.

If you still haven’t done the “homework” we recommend watching the video before following the reading of the answer to the questions posted:

http://unicist.net/it/learning-from-steve-jobs-apple%E2%80%99s-fundamentals/

We consider that the core fundamental of Apple is aesthetics. But aesthetics is not beauty. It goes beyond.

Apple products are aesthetic because they complete the needs of their prospect clients, they are desirable and harmonic. They also include inaccessible aspects that basically deal with innovative technology.

It can be said that the integration of an innovative technology with the fulfillment of latent needs are the core fundamentals that drive Apple’s business.

Steve Jobs is a doer himself

“Doers make things happen. Therefore, more than ever before, it is time for doers in the world.”

Doers are very special individuals. They are basically individuals whose fulfillment is based on doing transcendent things. They need to achieve what they have decided to do. When things cannot be done the easy way, they find the necessary path to make things happen.

“The world is built by doers and enjoyed by followers”. The joy of doers is in the deed itself.

We hope this has been useful.

The use of commercial white papers to expand businesses

Commercial white papers are universal tools to inform clients of what is behind of what is being sold.

But white papers are extremely useful in some cases and extremely useless in others. It is necessary to understand their nature in order to define when and how to use them and how to design their content.

A commercial white paper explains the solution that is behind a product or service. It is not a description of a product or a service; that is the functionality of a brochure.

The design of white papers needs to be neutral, it cannot sell anything. It is implicitly a “teaching material”, which means that it has to be focused on providing something useful.

Therefore, commercial white papers have to be useful information for the market that helps readers to solve a problem.

They need to provide the basics of the technology that sustains the solution of the problem and need to be sustained by the authoritative role that is implicit in the brand of the company. If the brand doesn’t suffice, a personal, credible and authoritative role can be a substitute for it.

The adequate use of white papers allows expanding the boundaries of a business into other areas where the solutions provided are useful.

Some typical markets for the use of white papers are: medicine, technology, industry, knowledge businesses, information technology, sports, etc.

The power of simplicity in business

Businesses are simple when businessmen/women have their business-model in their minds and their customers find the product or service they are seeking for.

Easy businesses are similar to simple businesses but they have no differentiated attributes for the seller.

Simple businesses expand and easy businesses become marginal.

Simple businesses imply that they are evidently possible, manageable with cause-effect actions and necessary.

The first step is to apprehend their possibility and then see if they are manageable. While management can be learned, apprehending the actual possibility is a precondition for learning.

But what is simple for someone is not simple for another one. Something is simple when it can be intuitively approached. It has to be considered that intuition includes the necessary knowledge to make something simple.

The Accountable Care Organization (ACO) business is simple but this simplicity needs to be materialized in a simple organization to become successful.

The unified field of the business, defined by its concept, needs to be known to make the business manageable to become simple. “Luck” is also a precondition. As a football player said: “The more I train, the luckier I get”.

Simplicity is the starting point and designing simple businesses is the goal. Unicist reflection, which is based on action, is the pathway from simplicity to simple ways of action.

More than 4,000 ontological researches on adaptive systems

The research on the “unicist unified field of human complex adaptive systems”, with its 36 ontological entities, allowed overcoming the milestone of 4,000 ontological researches developed at The Unicist Research Institute.

This goal has been achieved 60 days before its deadline. Now it can be said that all the relevant aspects of individual, institutional and social evolution have been researched.

The discovery of the ontological structure of biological entities opened the field of apprehending the unified field of adaptive systems. The understanding of the dynamics of adaptive systems at an ontological level, such as businesses, allowed defining the possibilities of change and their probabilities of success.

The discovery of the structure of this adaptive process included as a final purpose the functionality of the adaptive system, aesthetics as the active function and ethical rules as the energy conservation function.  This changes the paradigms of future scenario and strategy building as well as the organizational design of adaptive systems.

This milestone triggers the launching of the Unicist Library for Businesses and the Unicist Library for Country Scenarios which was foreseen to occur in October. This launching will now happen on August 1, 2011.
